Carvoeiro Branco awaits green light for Vale da Pipa affordable housing development

The Vale da Pipa development, an “ambitious” project by Carvoeiro Branco, foresees the construction of 304 affordable apartments and 20 plots.

Carvoeiro Branco, one of the Algarve's leading real estate developers, is about to reach a significant milestone.

The company is now awaiting approval from Lagoa Municipal Council to go ahead with its ambitious project, which envisages the construction of 304 affordable apartments and 20 individual plots.

After more than three years of meticulous planning, rigorous assessments and facing a maze of bureaucratic requirements, the developer has met all the conditions imposed by the authorities.

Now, the decision is in the hands of the Lagoa City Council.

“We did everything that was asked of us,” says Erik de Vlieger, CEO of Carvoeiro Branco.

“For years, we've overcome various obstacles, solved all the problems and complied with all the authorities' demands. Now it's time for Lagoa to fulfill its commitment to providing affordable housing for its residents,” he adds in a statement sent to the press.
