Erik de Vlieger is an experienced Dutch businessman, investor, and founder of Carvoeiro Branco, one of the leading real estate developers in the Algarve. With over 40 years of experience as an entrepreneur, Erik has a strong business acumen. He also co-owns Palm Properties Portugal, a premier real estate advisor in the Algarve since 1982. Erik started to buy real estate in Portugal as early as 1996. After moving to the Algarve in 2006, Erik has been committed to revitalizing deserted locations and structures, as well as creating new projects with the aim of enhancing their value to the community.
His mission is to create sustainable, exceptional, and innovative real estate developments and projects that exceed expectations in every location his company, Carvoeiro Branco, serves. The successful Atrium Lagoa and Vale de Milho Village projects are testament to his vision. Recently, Carvoeiro Branco announced seven projects in Lagoa, with a total end value of almost €132 million which makes Erik de Vlieger a prominent figure to watch in the real estate development industry.
Erik aspires to make a meaningful contribution to the country by facilitating the development of middle-class housing, businesses, and other opportunities. Beyond his business endeavors, Erik is a passionate individual with a diverse set of interests. He is an avid football fan, attending matches regularly in Portugal and Ajax Amsterdam to support his favorite teams. Outside of sports, Erik has a love for art, demonstrated by his impressive collection. Despite his busy schedule, Erik values spending time with his family, including his children and grandchildren. With his enthusiasm for sports, the arts, and community development, Erik brings a unique perspective to any business endeavor.
